Galfan coated bastion barrier made in Anping China is a modern gabion lined with heavy duty non-woven geotextile. The gabion is made by galfan steel wire which is also be called as Zinc-Aluminum steel wire. This kind of blast barrier is usually used for flood control because the galfan steel wire has a good rust resistance feature.
Disadvantage of galfan coated defensive barrier:
The welded joints of welded wire mesh is not very strong because of its heavy zinc coating. If you want to choose one kind of flood barrier made by firm welded mesh, then the surface treatment of galvanized after welding is the best choice. The galvanized after welding surface treatment is that we will weld the black steel wire to be mesh panels, then do hot dipped galvanizing.
