Regarding the welded wire mesh panels of Hesco Barrier , there are 2 welding and galvanizing methods, one is galvanized before welding and another one method is galvanized after welding.
Galvanized before welding:
According to the above comparation diagram between the two different welding and galvanizing methods, we can see that the main difference between them is the welding points. In this processing method, the galvanized steel wire will be welded into wire mesh panels, so there will be black welding points on welded wire mesh panels. Disadvantage: the black welding points are exposed to air for long time, the black welding points will be easier to be rust.Till then it will shorten the service life of Hesco Bastion Barrier.
Galvanized after welding:
In this processing method, we will use the black steel wire to be welded into wire mesh and then do the hot dipped galvanizing. After dipped galvanizing for mesh panels completely, the zinc coating would be over 400g/m2, so it will have very high rust resistance and long service life. But it also has a disadvantage, that is the price will be higher.
